About Me
I'm Raby Gueye, a social entrepreneur, education leader, and advisor working at the intersection of education, philanthropy, and impact investing. After spending two decades in the United States, I returned home to Senegal to found Teach For Senegal, a national movement cultivating a new generation of teacher-leaders transforming classrooms and communities from within. Since launching the organization, we've raised millions, built partnerships across government, philanthropy, and the private sector, and impacted thousands of children through initiatives focused on foundational learning, girls' education, leadership development, and community-driven early childhood education.
I am a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, Teach For America alumna, Echoing Green Fellow, Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award recipient, and was honored at the World Youth Forum by the President of Egypt for my contributions to education and social innovation.
Today, I advise family foundations, philanthropists, nonprofits, impact investors, and development organizations looking to create meaningful and sustainable change. My work focuses on strategy, leadership development, fundraising, partnerships, organizational growth, and impact investing. I bring a unique perspective that bridges global insight with local realities.
I hold a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and completed the Stanford Executive Program. At the heart of my work is a simple belief: the people closest to the challenges are often closest to the solutions. My goal is to help leaders, institutions, and investors channel their resources toward the people and ideas capable of creating lasting change.
